Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the game PupRacers and the website pupracers.com (together, the "Service"), operated by Jean-Yves Quentel, an independent game developer based in France ("we", "us", "the developer"). By downloading, accessing or playing PupRacers, or by using the website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

PupRacers is a family-friendly game. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to create an account, join the beta, or use online features. If you are under the age of majority, you should review these Terms with a parent or guardian.

2. License to use the game

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to download and play PupRacers for your own private, non-commercial entertainment, subject to these Terms and to the rules of the platform you use (for example Google Play). You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, distribute, sell, rent or exploit the game or its content except as expressly permitted by law.

3. Beta / Early Access

PupRacers is currently offered as a beta / early-access product. This means:

• The game is still in development and may contain bugs, incomplete features or content that changes.
• Features, progress, saved data and online services may be reset, modified or removed at any time.
• The Service is provided for testing and feedback purposes and may be interrupted or discontinued.

By joining the beta you understand and accept the experimental nature of the product.

4. User conduct

When using online features, you agree not to:

• cheat, exploit bugs, or use unauthorized software to gain an unfair advantage;
• harass, abuse or harm other players;
• disrupt, overload or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its servers;
• use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

We may suspend or terminate access for conduct that violates these Terms.

5. Intellectual property

PupRacers, including its name, logo, characters, artwork, worlds, music, code and all related content, is an original creation and the intellectual property of Jean-Yves Quentel, protected by copyright and other laws. All rights reserved. These Terms do not grant you any ownership of the game or its content.

6. Third-party services

PupRacers uses third-party services to provide online features. Your use of these features is also subject to those providers' terms and policies:

• Epic Online Services (EOS) — multiplayer, matchmaking and leaderboards.
• Google Play & Play Games Services — distribution, achievements, leaderboards, cloud save.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, especially during the beta period.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have as a consumer that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the game evolves. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version. Material changes will be reflected on this page, and your continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of France, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you in your country of residence.
